“Connections are more important than critiques”

Yoda alweer met een interessante link: in dit interview van Mark Dery met Erik Davis slaan de heren enkele spijkers op zijn kop, wat betreft de schoonheid van overinterpretatie, de voor- en nadelen van connecties vs. kritiek, Mille Plateaux als psychedelische tekst (ha! eindelijk iemand die het ook ziet) plus de ambivalentie over nostalgie naar de 70s (vandaar ook Boards of Canada.) De 33 1/3 van Davis over Led Zeppelin IV moet uiteindelijk toch aangeschaft worden, al was het om didactische redenen, kijken hoe ver je met interpretatie kan gaan.

Was vergeten dit citaat er uit te liften wat eigenlijk perfect mijn gebruik van D&G samenvat:
